Norway - China Export, Outlook 2022
The Norwegian Government has launched ambitious plans for increased export by 50% within 2030. This NCCC meeting will put export on the agenda as China is the biggest export market for Norway in Asia. What are the prospects for the Chinese market and outlook for 2022?
Besides digital greetings from the Chinese ambassador, Mr Yi Xianliang, you will hear address from State Secretary Halvard Ingebrigtsen, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries on the export ambitions and the bilateral relations. Ms Tone Lunde Bakker, CEO of Export Finance Norway will talk about export finance as a key tool helping Norwegian exporters to win contracts in the Chinese market. Ms Kathrine Myhre, vicechair of the newly established Norwegian Export Strategy Council, will address the Councils mandate, role, and functions in dealing with the business community and the public business support system for export. Additionally, Mr. Ole Henæs, Asia Director of Innovation Norway, will introduce the mission of the Innovation Norway - Government´s important export council.
